Resolution for Student Activity Fee Increase

Senate passed a resolution to increase the Student Activity Fee. fee has not been adjusted since its inception in 2003 and is no longer able to provide the same opportunities available to students as when it was first created due to high inflation in the entertainment industry. The Ad-Hoc Committee for the Review of the Student Activity Fee has recommended a raise in the SAF by ten dollars per quarter (from $15 to $25). The Ohio Union Council will be responsible for overseeing the programs receiving SAF funds to be sure that they remain student lead and continue to provide a high level quality and value to all who participate in them.
